About Joy

Joy has studied under learning institutes such as Graham Webb, Redken 5th Avenue,  Goldwell, Loreal Professional in New York City, Washington, DC and Baltimore.  She continues to educate herself on the latest trends, traveling to different cities and events throughout the year.

My goal is to care for my clients as they relax and enjoy their stay in my salon. I try to achieve the look a client wants while maintaining the integrity and health of the hair. I do this in the most natural way possible.

Shop History

Joy has been working in the State College area for over 35 years, getting her start at Looks Downtown. She served as a senior stylist and manager at two salons in downtown State College before opening her own salon in Lemont, Pa.

After five years in Lemont, she moved Joy's Salon to 120 Meadow Lane in State College, Pa, where the shop is today.
